File specs

Get these right and your print comes out exactly like your screen. Every file still gets a free check from us before it goes to press.

Accepted formats

PDF (preferred), SVG, JPG and PNG. Vector PDF or SVG is best for text and logos because it scales to any size without softening — an A4 layout can be blown up to A2 or larger cleanly.

Resolution

• Canvas and indoor signage: 150 DPI at final print size.
• Banners, pull-ups and X-frames: 100–150 DPI at final size (viewed from a distance).
• Wall murals: 100 DPI at full wall size is sufficient.

Bleed and safe area

• Add 3mm bleed on all edges for boards and flat prints.
• Canvas needs 40mm bleed for the gallery wrap around the frame.
• Pull-up banners: keep text at least 100mm from the bottom — that section rolls into the base.
• Keep all critical text 10mm inside the trim edge.

Colour and fonts

Supply artwork in CMYK where possible; RGB files are converted and may shift slightly. Outline or embed all fonts in PDFs. Rich blacks print best at C60 M40 Y40 K100.
